Big Sur
Driving South on Highway 1go past all the houses of Carmel Highland. Look for this telephone pole. Notice the building on the left. This is one of my favorite put-in. It offers excellent access to the inaccessible Big Sur Coast. It takes some effort to scramble down a 20 foot cliff. But the path is good.
What you get is a great beach put-in protected by thick kelp beds.
Access to the spectacular Big Sur Coast. Paddle North or South you can't lose!
Disclaimer
These are put-ins that I have used, and maybe totally different when you are there, in other words, paddle at your own risk.
Always check weather and ocean conditions before you paddle!
